Instant Pot Shrimp And Broccoli

INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup Della Basmati Rice
- 1/2 raw shrimp thawed, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup broccoli
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch & 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 green onion

Cook Della Basmati White Rice by rinsing your rice until the water becomes clear and add in what is shown in the video. Prep vegetables and shrimp.

Put all the ingredients into the Instant Pot, except for the broccoli (if you want it to stay firm), the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water), and the sesame seeds. Start with the shrimp, then add the sauce ingredients. Put the lid on the Instant Pot and make sure the vent is set to SEALING. Press the "manual" or "pressure cook" button, set it to low pressure, and cook for 0 minutes. The Instant Pot will build pressure, then stop cooking and beep.

Quickly release the steam and carefully open the lid. To thicken the sauce, press the SAUTE button and add the cornstarch slurry to the pot. Stir it with the sauce until it thickens, which might take about 1 minute. If it's not thick enough, add more cornstarch mixed with water. After thickening the sauce, add the fresh broccoli florets to the pot and cover with the lid. Let the broccoli steam for a couple of minutes until it's slightly cooked but still crunchy.

Serve the shrimp and broccoli over rice, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onion. Enjoy!
