Filipino-Styled BBQ Skewers over Salad and Jasmine Rice

INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup Della Jasmine White Rice
- 1/8 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/8 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 can sprite
- 2 lbs ground pork
- Lime slices
- 1-2 cups salad mix

Cook the Della Basmati Jasmine Rice by following the instructions on the package.
Add all the marinade ingredients. Mix well. Cover the bowl and marinate your seasoned ground pork for at least 3 hours to 24 hours.

Take the marinated ground pork from the fridge. Prepare the skewers (soak them 1st) and a tbsp of oil on the side. Coat your hand in oil to prevent ground pork from sticking to your hands.Mold the skewers with the ground pork (to your desired thickness and length.

Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes over medium-high heat, rotating as needed. It’s cooked when the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
